Robert S Harrison Sr., Executive Director
Reality House Executive Director Robert S. Harrison, Sr. started his employment with Reality House Programs, Inc. in 2003 as a treatment professional for the Alternative Sentencing Courts. In 2006, he became the Reality House Security Director and was responsible for the safety, security, transportation, and investigative functions for all staff, participants, volunteers, and visitors of the corporation. He assumed the role of Client Services Director in 2012 and remained in that position until his appointment as Executive Director in 2014.
Prior to coming to Reality House, he was employed with Salvation Army and Phoenix Programs in a variety of counseling and management positions. Mr. Harrison received his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia College in 2000. He is a Missouri Certified Criminal Justice Professional and Registered Substance Abuse Professional and was the recipient of the Missouri Mental Health Champion Award in 2014. Mr. Harrison has served on several community boards and volunteered with many local organizations. In 2009 he founded the community theater company “Actors of Faith”.
Mr. Harrison has dedicated his adult life to serving those who are forgotten by society.

Michael E Hayes, Security Director
Mr. Hayes began his employment with Reality House programs in July of 2011 as the Federal Social Services Coordinator. In the July of 2012, he took over as the Reality House Security Director.
Mr. Hayes and his staff are responsible for the centers safety, security, transportation, and investigative functions for all staff, participants and visitors of the corporation. Mr. Hayes received his Bachelor degree from Western Illinois University with a major in Sociology and a minor in Law Enforcement Administration.
Prior to joining the Reality House staff he was a Police officer with the Columbia Police Department for 20 years. While employed at the Columbia Police Department, he served in the Patrol division, Crime Prevention Unit, Canine Unit, and the Community Policing Unit. Mr. Hayes was a member of the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners, and department liaison to various volunteer and civic organizations, including the 13th Judicial Circuit Court alternative sentencing team, as well as the Columbia Neighborhood Watch program.
He is currently involved with a number of community agencies in a volunteer/member capacity.
